Description:

firstsite is a contemporary visual arts organisation based in Colchester.

We commission and present contemporary art; contextualise contemporary art through talks, publications and events and deliver an ambitious range of projects to schools, community groups and artists living in the region.

Visit firstsite at 4 - 6 Short Wyre Street, Colchester. We have a small shop space, selling firstsite publications, art magazines, gifts and a selection of materials to get your creative juices flowing. You can pop in and pick up all the latest information on what's on at firstsite and book on to any forthcoming events. We are open Monday - Saturday 9.30am - 5pm, we look forward to seeing you soon!

Designed by Rafael Viñoly as a new social space for everyone to visit, firstsite's new building will house firstsite's vibrant programme of changing exhibitions, workshops, lectures and community events. Admission will be free.
