Description:

The Civic Theatre is a 505 seat auditorium which offers a varied programme of large scale professional, touring and amateur events throughout the year, from classical drama and dance to an eclectic musical programme and all time family favourites. The Civic Theatre prides itself on its friendly, welcoming atmosphere and ability to appeal to everyone through a diverse programme of high quality theatre.

Accessibilty:

The Civic Theatre is located on Fairfield Road, just two minutes walk from the railway and bus station. There is ample parking in the Fairfield Road car park next to the theatre, accessible from Coval Lane. Charges apply weekdays (£3.90 all day; £1 after 5.00pm) and weekends (£2.00 all day). There are three designated disabled parking bays and level access from all areas of the car park. Please note the presence of double yellow lines on Fairfield Road, directly outside the theatre.

Wheelchair access is via powered doors into the Civic Theatre at the front of the building. Coaches can pick up and drop off outside the theatre. The theatre auditoriums and bars have ramped and level access and there is level access to the Box Office and disabled toilet.
