Description:

The Cramphorn Theatre (adjoining the Civic) is an intimate studio theatre seating up to 177 and presents a programme of smaller scale professional touring theatre, music productions, dance and lunchtime concerts, as well as being renowned for its innovative mixture of art house, world and mainstream film screenings. Look out for The Cramphorn, live music nights, which showcase the best local bands on the first Saturday of every month.

Accessibilty:

The Cramphorn Theatre is located on Fairfield Road, just two minutes walk from the railway and bus station. There is ample parking in the Fairfield Road car park next to the theatre, accessible from Coval Lane. Charges apply weekdays (£3.90 all day; £1 after 5.00pm) and weekends (£2.00 all day). There are three designated disabled parking bays and level access from all areas of the car park. Please note the presence of double yellow lines on Fairfield Road, directly outside the theatre.

Wheelchair access is via powered doors into the Civic Theatre at the front of the building. Coaches can pick up and drop off outside the theatre. The theatre auditoriums and bars have ramped and level access and there is level access to the Box Office and disabled toilet.
