Opening Times:

1st April to 30th September: 10am to 5pm Wednesday to Sunday.
JMT is closed on Monday and Tuesday. The tower is available to hire on these two days.
March and October: 10.30am to 3.30pm Saturday and Sundays.

Jaywick Martello Tower is an arts venue which supports creative collaborations relating to the themes of Community, Heritage and Environment that affect our lives today.

Jaywick Martello Tower is our Environment, our Community, and our Heritage. We pursue opportunities and ventures that make this not only a gallery, workshop space, or meeting point but all of these things.

Every hour from London Liverpool Street station, check with National Railways before travelling. Day return 21.90

Bus 10/11 from outside Clacton Station on left side of park. Bus stand does not show 10/11 but it is there. Get off at end of route, average time 20mins.
Bus 3.20 return. There are also taxis from station, average cost 7.00

By road:
Take A12 to Colchester, then take A120 signposted Harwich, take A133 signposted Clacton. At roundabout take right exit past Bowling Green Public House. Continue down the Clacton bypass. At third roundabout take third exit signposted Martello Caravan Park. Continue over mini roundabout and take signposted road to Jaywick. At next mini roundabout continue on through village towards Martello Holiday Park. Take left turn by the sea wall at entrance to the Holiday Park.
