The magnificently colouful Hyperbolic Crochet Coral Reef that has arrived in at firstsite in Colchester has been such a success that it's staying until 20 February 2010.  Visitors of all ages have created and contributed pieces of coral, sitting on the sofa at the gallery space in Short Wyre Street and watching imaginary waves lap the reef, which includes a variety of luminous species and a charmingly blue-eyed squid.  There's a range of half-term activities between 15-20 February 2010, and also an opportunity to make Crochet Hearts this weekend for Valentine's Day.  For more details contact firstsite direct.
