You can liaise with your local authority Arts and Heritage Development Officer or Officer whose responsibility includes Arts and Heritage and ask about local funding opportunities which may be available. Even if there is no funding available, Local Authorities may be able to signpost you to other sources of funding and useful information. The Essex Community Foundation is an n independent charitable trust improving the quality of life of people in our community by investing and distributing funds on behalf of a wide range of donors. Since 1996 our donors have invested over £20 million of charitable funding directly into Essex, Southend and Thurrock making it a great place to live, work, learn and grow.
The Education Endowment Foundation offer funding which “will raise the attainment of children from economically disadvantaged backgrounds in schools in England”. It is open to not-for-profit organisations such as mainstream primary and secondary schools, charities, local authorities, academy chains, universities, social enterprises and community interest companies.
