  • Heritage Open Day - Tea in the Garden

    Dates: Sep 9, 2017 - Sep 9, 2017
    The Library will be open 10am to 4pm on 9th September for Heritage Open Days. An exhibition of books and archives from the collection will highlight the work of the library and its partners today. The Friends of Thomas Plume’s Library will be providing tea, coffee and home-made cake in the churchyard garden from 12 noon to 3pm and there will also be a bookstall and raffle. Access: RESTRICTED - VIA STEEP AND NARROW SPIRAL STAIRCASE. Maximum capacity of 10 people at a time

    This exhibition celebrates the 100th in The Gallery and Harlow’s 70th birthday. INSIGHT and OBSERVATION presents bronze and bronze resin sculpture by Gerda Rubinstein. Gerda is well known in Harlow, being well represented in the towns renowned sculpture collection and in the Gibberd Garden. Her sculptures are familiar, well appreciated and many inspire real affection.
